The similarities between Satoshi Kon’s Paprika and Christopher Nolan’s Inception. Paprika, a cautionary anime tale where a dream recording device called the DC-Mini is stolen from a psychiatric research facility and the thief causes mayhem by intertwining the patients’ nightmares with the staff’s dreams, shows influence in Nolan’s Inception.
